Kevin Stackhouse, Producer/ Playwright
Kevin Stackhouse is thrilled to rejoin Drew Garza on After Carpathia. This past year, he has worked on the creation of the musical, Judith: The Other Shakespeare in collaboration with Smile Frown Theatre Guild and Temple University. His recent Philadelpiha credits include Clybourne Park at the Arden Theatre Company and his New York theater credits include the New York Musical Theatre Festival, technical, Naked Boys singing, asst to the producer and Newsical:The Musical asst to the producer. Special thanks to the cast and crew for making his words have heart.
Drew Garza, Director
Drew Garza is ecstatic about the opportunity to revisit After Carpathia after the last two years. A Philadelphia resident and student of the Temple University’s theater department, Drew has had the distinct pleasure to work as a casting director including It Was A Quiet Ride and Above All Others (Flim Films, LLC) well as directing the previous two incarnations of After Carpathia and, most recently, Assistant Directing Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia (Temple University). Drew would like to thank his family for the endless well of encouragement and the constant support of his increasingly outlandish endeavors.
Asaki Kuruma, Stage Manager
Asaki is thrilled to be a part of After Carpethia Off-Broadway team! Originally from Yokohama, Japan, Asaki has been Assisant Stage Manager for Curtis Opera Theatre in Philadelphia past three years. She also work as an actor on stages and in films. Graduate of Tempe University with a B.A. in Theater/ Acting. Many thanks to my family in Japan and US for their support and love. Special thanks to Kevin and Drew for this opportunity.

Chris Setty, Director of Photography
Chris Setty is elated at the opportunity to be a part of the
After Carpathia crew. Currently studying photography at Tyler School of Art in
Philadelphia, Chris has had several of his photos selected to be a part of the
Gewandhaus Orchestra’s 2011/2012 concert book in Leipzig, Germany, and has most
recently worked with Kno Clothing photographing Miss Colorado 2011’s Blair
Griffith. Chris would like to thank Drew Garza for giving him this rare
opportunity, as well as his ever-supportive friends and family.

Madeleine Orthey, Jeweler and Assistant to Costume Designer
It has been one of Madeleine Orthey's ambitions, as a recent graduate of Tyler School of Art's Metals/ Jewelry/ CAD-CAM program, to create costume jewelry for theatrical production. Working on After Carpathia is particularly exciting to her because of the incorporation of studio art into performing art through the significance of jewelry in this 1929 plot line. Madeleine is currently building a studio at her home in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, and taking commissions. She hopes to continue designing and fabricating costume jewelry for the stage. She thanks Director Drew Garza for this unique opportunity.
